আবারো অনুষ্ঠিত হতে যাচ্ছে তৃতীয় বাংলার কবিতা উৎসব। গত বছর লন্ডনে তৃতীয় বাংলার প্রথম কবিতা উৎসবের আয়োজন করে সংহতি সাহিত্য পরিষদ। সংহতির এ উদযোগে স্বস্ফূর্তভাবে যোগ দেয় বিভিন্ন সাহিত্য, সাংস্কৃতিক সংগঠন ও কবি-সাহিত্যিকগণ। উৎসবে বাংলাদেশ থেকে কবি বেলাল চৌধুরী এবং কবি রফিক আজাদ এসেছিলেন। ২০০৮ সালে উৎসবের সূচনা লগ্নে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনা ঋদ্ধ কবিদের উপস্থিতিতে আনন্দমুখর পরিবেশের সৃষ্টি হলেও পরিস্থিতি এমন কন্টক শূন্য করে তুলতে উদ্যোক্তাদের যথেষ্ট বেগ পেতে হয়। অনুষ্ঠান চলাকালীন সময়েও কিছু কিছু ব্যক্তি বর্গের উপস্থিতিও দর্শকদের মনে নানা প্রশ্নের জন্ম দেয়। দেশেই যখন একটি রাজনৈতিক দলে তাদের শক্ত পদচারনায় দলটি নির্বাচনে ব্যপক ভরাডুবির পরও তাদের ছাড়াতে পারছেনা সে স্থানে একটি ্যাপারতো বটেই। কিন্তু উদ্যোক্তাগন শেষ পর্যন্ত কবিতাকে আর মৌলবাদে জড়িয়ে ফেলেননি। সে জন্য তারাই সর্ম্পূণ কৃতিত্বের দাবীদার। জনগনের এ প্রত্যাশা এবারো দূর্লক্ষ্য নয়। কেমন হবে তৃতীয় বাংলার কবিতা উৎসব? কারা এ আয়োজনে অর্থ যোগাবেন। কি তাদের পরিচয়। এরাকি আসলেই শিল্প-সাহিত্যকে সবসময়ই এভাবে অনুদান দিয়ে এসেছেন বলে সুনাম রয়েছে? কারা আমন্ত্রীত অতিথি হবেন? কারা নিজেরা স্বেচ্ছায় এতে যোগ দেবেন? স্থানীয় কবিগন কারা। যারা কবিতা পড়বেন বা যাদের কবিতার অক্ষর-ভাষায়-চিন্তায় প্রকাশিত হবে গ্রন্থ, তাদের কবিতা বাছাইয়ের জন্য কি কোন নীতি মালা অনুসরণ করা হবে? পুরষ্কার এর বিচারক কারা? এ রকম নানান প্রশ্ন নিয়ে শুরু হয়েছে এবারের আয়োজন। মাঙ্গলিক কোন আচার-অনুষ্ঠানের জন্য বাচ-বিচার আবশ্যকীয়। সে নিয়ম নিশ্চয় অনুসরণ করে সংহতি। যতদূর মনে পড়ে গত বছর কবিতা উৎসবের প্রাক প্রস্তুতি সভাগুলোতে মৌলিক কিছু বিষয়ে একনিষ্ট থাকার কথা উঠে এসেছিলো আর তাতেই মূল আয়োজক সংগঠণ সচেতন ছিলো।, কিন্তু দূর্জনের ছল একটু পয়োমন্তরই হয় বটে। তাতে করে সংহতি বর্ণচোরদের ঠিক চিহ্নিত করতে পরেনি। প্রবাসে প্রথম বারের মত এত বড় আয়োজন, তাতে কিছুটা বিচ্যুতি হওয়া অপ্রত্যাশিত নয়। যদিও সে বিচ্যুতি নানা বিতর্ক তৈরী করেছে। বিতর্ক তৈরী হওয়াটা বলতে পারি সংহতির জন্য একটি সুরম্য পথও তৈরী করেছে। নিশ্চি নিদেনা েে কোন পথে হাঁটতে হবে। কোন পথে হাঁটতে হবে না। এবার শুধু পথ চিনে হাঁটাই বাঞ্চনীয়। প্রাসঙ্গিক কারণে আমরা মনে করতে পারি বাঙলা সাহিত্যের আধুনিক কবিদের কথা। যে সময়ে পশ্চিমের রিল্কে, ইয়েটস, এলিয়ট-এরা আধুনিক হয়েও আটকে ছিলেন, আদিম ধর্ম, হাস্যকর অতীন্দ্রীয়তা আর যতসব অবিশ্বাসে, সে সময়ে জীবনান্দ, বিষ্ণু দে, বুদ্ধদেব এবং সুধীন্দ্রনাথ এসব অবিশ্বাস এবং অতীন্দ্রীয়তাকে তুড়ি মেরে উড়িয়ে দিয়েছিলেন। শামসুর রাহমান আজীবন ছিলেন আপোষহীণ। তাঁর নেত্রীত্বেই একদিন বাংলাদেশে জাতীয় কবিতা পরিষদের শুরু হয়েছিলো। আজ যারা তৃতীয় বাংলার কবি হিসেবে পরিচিত এবং পরিচয় দিচ্ছেন তাঁরাতো ওঁদেরই উত্তরসুরী। আমাদের গভীর ভাবে ভাবিত হবার প্রয়োজন রয়েছে যে, আমরা কবিতায় কি বলতে চাই, কী হবে কবিতার ভাষা-চিন্তা-দর্শন? কেননা কবিতা সব সময় নিজের কাজ করেছে সতর্কতা এবং দ্রুততায়। বায়ান্ন থেকে একাত্তর কী সে কথা বলে না? কবি টি এস এলিয়টের জন্ম আমেরিকায় হলেও তিনি ব্রিটিশ কবি হিসেবেই পরিচিত। দ্বিতীয় কবিতা উৎসবের প্রাক্কালে তাঁর কথাই মনে পড়ছে। ১৯১৪ সালের আগস্টে আমেরিকা থেকে লন্ডনে দর্শন পড়তে এসেছিলেন, কিন্তু সে সময়ে তাঁর কাছে দর্শন পড়ার চেয়ে মহাযুদ্ধ মুখ্য হয়ে উঠেছিলো। আর তিনি বলেছিলেন, “[My poetry] wouldn’t be what it is if I’d been born in England, and it wouldn’t be what it is if I’d stayed in America.
